“$1 Oysters at Bar Henry”

How many times have you bought nice, fresh oysters from The Lobster Place or Citarella only to come home dreading the thought of shucking them? By the time you’ve finished opening these bi-valve gems, without stabbing yourself or mangling the meat, you’re already exhausted. Starting January 24, however, Bar Henry in Greenwich Village will do all the hard work for you at $1 an oyster from 11 p.m. to close Sundays through Thursdays. You can’t even buy some oysters for a dollar each! Besides the Blue Point staples, Bar Henry also regularly carries Malbec, West Hill and North Haven oysters with a mignonette and wedge of lemon on the side. So why not kick back with a drink and some oysters? That’s the easy part.
