“Changes in the Kitchen at Geisha”

After 4 years as Executive Chef at Geisha, the Upper East Side sushi restaurant, Michael Vernon has left to further pursue a career in seafood, which has always been a passion of his. According to press materials, Vernon may become the Consultant for new openings of the Serafina Restaurant Group in the future. Replacing him is Executive Chef Richard Lee, who joined Geisha with Michael Vernon and consulting chef Eric Ripert, in September 2003.
