“Strong Place”
Kenny Tufo and Jeff Lederman, the chef and owner (respectively) of the popular Brooklyn Italian spot Bocca Lupo will open Strong Place, an American Bistro with a raw bar and a gastro-pub-esque menu, featuring wine and beer (24 brews will be on tap) right next to Sweet Melissa at 270 Court Street. What great news for us who live just a few blocks away. Indeed, Strong Place continues to expand this neighborhood’s growing restaurant scene, with gems like Watty and Meg, Char No. 4, and Buttermilk Channel. I started out with a wrap and a smoothie at Nectar, moved on th Boca Lupo and loved everything on the menu and now I'm waiting (with baited breath) for Lederman to open Strong Place. Based on the first two places, this has got to be great.
